Our Beneficiaries will be receiving text messages if they withdrew their application. If they call inbound you will complete a short survey with them on why they withdrew the app.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SELL THE MEMBER UNLESS THEY SPECFICALLY ASK YOU TO.

This is not a sales campaign, this is an information campaign.

If they ask you to re-enroll them you may do so.

Below is the link to the plate itself. You can click through to familiarize yourself with the process.

If you get a call that does not automatically populate the information, you will need to put the correct visitor ID in the highlighted area below.

As always leave good notes in CCE!

What do the different application statuses mean-

Withdrawn Duplicate Submission-

The shopper has enrolled in the same plan for the new year that they had for the previous year. You will need to enroll a shopper in a plan with a different carrier.

Withdrawn Existing Member

The BFC has more than one application with the same carrier. Enroll BFC in a new plan with a different carrier.

Withdrawn Voluntary-

BFC voluntarily withdrew the application. You can enroll the BFC in any plan with any carrier.

Withdrawn Closed-

The application has been closed due to inaction. You will have to call to confirm with the shopper what coverage they want and enroll them.

Requires Manual Intervention-

There is an open issue with the application. You will need to call the shopper and transfer to the carrier to resolve the issue.

Sent To Carrier-

The application has been sent to the carrier but has not yet been approved.

Carrier Approved-

The application is approved.

Pending CMS Approval-

CMS is verifying eligibility.

Pending Invalid Election Type-

The Sep or election period was used incorrectly. Hunt for a valid SEP or set AEP callback

Pending AOR Verification-

Assurance has applied to be the agent of record, but still needs to be validated.

Pending no part a/b-

The applicant might not have a or b. Hunt for ICEP SEP. Make sure the effective date is before the effective date of a or b

Pending Incomplete application-

The application was submitted with missing information. Call the BFC and get them to the carrier to complete the application

Pending Proof of Medicaid-

The Medicaid level might be insufficient to qualify for the plan, or the medicaid status has to be validated. Connect BFC with the carrier and reshop for a different plan if necessary.
