5 Star Plans
Agents may use the 5-Star enrollment code but it is easy to use incorrectly. Follow this guide carefully to ensure accuracy.
Navigate through the Enrollment Reasons plate until reaching the question:
”Is there a 5-star plan in your area that you would like to enroll in?”Do not ask the question which will likely confuse the customer. Instead, place on hold and verify there is at least one 5-Star plan in their area.
How to Verify 5-Star Plan in the Area
To verify, use this link to open the test version of Sunfire Blaze in a new tab.
Username: training_qa@assurance.com
Password: Welcome1#
After logging in:
Enter Zip code (and county if applicable)
Select “Save”
Make sure the “Medicare Advantage/Part D” plan type is selected.
Scroll through to find any 5-star plans (see example below). There may be more than one in the area.
Now that a 5-Star plan has been found, you may enroll into the 5-star plan using the 5-star enrollment code. Do not enroll into any plans that are less than 5-stars using the 5-star code including 4.5 star plans or plans that are not yet rated.
You may NOT use 5-star enrollment code if they are currently in a 5-star plan. If this is the case, then keep digging for a valid enrollment period.
