  1. Failure to complete within 16 hours may result in a Verbal Coaching.

  2. Failure to complete within 20 hours may result in a Written CAP.

  3. Failure to complete within 24 hours may result in a Final CAP.

  4. Failure to complete within 28 hours may result in Termination of Employment.

Instructions

  • Click Here to navigate to the Aetna Login Page (open in a new tab).

  • All returning users will need to reset their password this year which most agents have already completed.

  • Use the dropdown below if you still need to reset your password.

 How to Reset your Password
  • If you have not yet reset your password, select “Forgot your Password”


  • You will receive this email. Your link will be slightly different as they are individualized.

  • Click the link in the email and select “Redeem the Passkey”

  • Enter your N# in the field.

Do not enter your NPN.

  • Select “Continue To Producer Registration”

  • You will be prompted to change your password. Create a new password using the rules provided.

    • At least 12 characters

    • Must include at least 1 digit

    • Must include at least 1 uppercase letter

    • Must include at least 1 lowercase letter

    • It is recommended to include 1 special character (!, @, #, $, etc)

    • Make sure the passwords match.

  • Write down your password somewhere safe and select “Save Changes.”

  • You will see that your password has been changed. Click “Continue.”

  • All necessary information should be pre-populated on the following page. Verify all information is entered correctly.

    • First and Last Name exactly as it appears on your license.

    • Company Name must be: Connexion Point, LLC

    • Job Title must be: Licensed Agent

    • Phone Number must be: 8019130245

  • Use your Aetna Email. DO NOT use your personal email.

  • Mailing address must be the site for your state, NOT your personal address.

  • Select “Update Profile” to continue

  • Make sure updates were successful.


  • If you are a member of the Aetna Group Team, you must also complete the Group Cert in the portal linked below in the Aetna system After you complete your AHIP and Individual Aetna certs.


  • Under “My Certifications” click the hyperlink to continue

  • If the link for the Aetna Individual Medicare Certification link does not appear, select Find My Training and it will populate.

  • Click “AHIP Medicare Training”

  • You have now navigated to the AHIP site.

  • Verify your personal information again.

    • Use your Aetna Email. DO NOT use your personal email.

    • Scroll up on this guide for a reminder of what information to enter in the other fields.

    • If you are not sure what your NPN number is, click “Find My NPN”

  • Scroll down to “Site Usage Agreements” and make the attestations. Click “Update Profile” to continue

  • On the right-side of the page, you should see that there is no charge for your AHIP. If there is, either a step was missed or there is another issue.

WARNING: If it is charging you for anything greater than $0, you must stop immediately and notify the Workshop Lead. DO NOT pay for your AHIP. You will not be reimbursed.

  • Select “Checkout” if the Grand Total is $0

  • Verify the total is still $0 then click “Go To My Courses”

  • Click “2022 AHIP Medicare Training (Recertification)”

  • Begin completing the modules.

  • Keep on pace with the rest of the group. However, if you are comfortable moving ahead of the group to finish ahead of schedule then this is even better.

  • Don’t about memorizing everything or taking detailed notes.

  • Move through the modules quickly and pay close attention to the practice quizzes for each module.

  • Use Ctrl+F to find answers for the practice Q’s.

  • Most of the Q’s on the final exam are exactly the same as the Q’s on the practice quizzes.

  • Once the modules are completed, the final exam should be accessible

  • Remember, you have 3 attempts to pass the final exam with 90% or better.

If you fail your first attempt on the Final Exam, it is mandatory to immediately notify the Workshop Lead.

If you fail your second attempt, you should again notify the Workshop Lead who should notify your direct TL and PM. You will be subject to a Written CAP and should not proceed with the third attempt until given permission by your PM who should proctor this attempt.

If you fail your third attempt then you will be disqualified to sell and this will likely result in termination of employment.

The above accountability measures apply to all exams which may impact the agent’s ability to sell including FWA, Nondiscrimination, General Compliance, as well as the carrier-specific exams.

  • Once completed, you will be prompted to start FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse)

  • Begin with “Nondiscrimination Training” and then “Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse”

  • Once FWA has been completed, “General Compliance” will become available for completion.

  • After the Final Exam has been completed for the “General Compliance” section, a green check mark will appear and “Certificate” on top will be accessible. Click “Certificate.”

  • Capture a screenshot of the certificate which should look like the one in the screenshot below.


  • Paste it to a Word Document.

  • Follow the steps in the dropdown below if you have not yet created a folder to store your cert proofs.

 How to Create a Cert Proof Folder
  1. Open Windows Explorer (the folder icon circled in red below)


  2. Right-Click “Documents”

  3. Select “New”

  4. Select “Folder”


  5. Name the folder “Cert Completion Proofs”.

  6. Open your Documents folder in Windows Explorer

  7. Right-Click the “Cert Completion Proofs” folder

  8. Select “Pin to Quick access”


  9. You now have a folder designated to store your cert completion proofs located in your “Documents” folder of Windows Explorer and easily accessed through your “Quick Access” folder:


  • Save the Word Document to your Cert Completion Proofs folder so that you may locate it in the future if needed.

  • Follow the steps in the dropdown below to save to your Cert Completion Proofs folder

 Saving to your Cert Completion Proofs Folder
  1. Select “File”

  2. Select “Save As”

  3. Select “Browse”

  4. Scroll to the top to find the “Quick Access” folder

  5. Select the “Cert Completion Proof” folder which is a subfolder under the Quick Access folder

  6. Name the Cert Proof according to the cert which has been completed

  7. Select “Save”

  • Email your proof to the Workshop Lead and cc your TL. The Workshop Lead will upload your certificate into a Cert Completion Tracker used to track which agents have completed which certs.

  • Keep track of the cert proof emails you send just in case anyone loses track of your proof to ensure you can prove that you followed the correct process. To do this, follow the steps in the dropdown below

 How to Keep Track of Cert Proof Emails
  1. Go to Outlook and right-click “Folders”

  2. Select “Create new folder”


  3. Label your new folder “Cert Proof Emails”


  4. You should now see your Cert Proof Emails folder under the “Folders” dropdown of Outlook


  5. Select Sent Items

  6. Right-click the cert completion email that you need to keep track of

  7. Select “Copy”

  8. Select the “Cert Proof Emails” folder (you may need to search for it by selecting “Copy to a different folder” if it does not populate right away)

  9. Now when you select your Cert Proof Emails folder in Outlook, you should see that the Cert Proof email has been copied to this folder for future reference.
